NAACP Holds Certification Training
in Montgomery, Alabama

| On March 1, 2008, the NAACP Alabama State Conference held it's first Statewide Certification Training in Montgomery, AL. During the event various members of the NAACP provided training on their particular area of knowledge. This included membership, economic development, American Indian Affairs, Voter Registration, Legal Redress and much more. The event was held on the Campus of Historic Alabama State University. Many of the Branches where present and accounted for and even a few new branches and organizing branches where available for the training. The State Conference will plan other events to help with those who were unable to make the event in Montgomery later this year. The Certification Training are required to be attended at least once a year for officers of the NAACP to hold a position in a branch or on a State Level. |
