The Barbour County NAACP Branch #5075 on January 4, 2007 became aware that the Martin Luther King parade was not going to take place in Eufaula this year.
So the Barbour County branch took the initiative of making sure that the Martin Luther King parade and the dream would continue. After having such a short notice, the NAACP members came together in unity and being blessed by God the parade was one of the longest Eufaula has ever had approximately 40 minutes long from front to rear.
We would like to thank each person, participate, church, organization, civil/social clubs (motorcycle and car clubs) for making the dream still live in Eufaula, Alabama. “It takes teamwork to make a dream work.” We love you all. Thank you. |
